Hi there, I’m Candace, most know me as Jayda!

I didn’t plan on starting over in midlife, but life had other arrangements. .

For years, I followed the “safe” path. I made choices based on what was expected of me. I checked the boxes, did things by the book, and tried to please everyone around me. But somewhere along the way, I lost myself.

Eventually, I hit burnout. I faced an identity shift that forced me to pause and ask, what do I really want?

So I started over. I pivoted careers, learned new skills, and carved out a new lane. But it wasn't long after that devastation struck, financial crisis hit, and I found myself back at square one.

That’s when I decided to take the leap into online entrepreneurship and I created the name Jayda Jacobs. For many of you, that’s where our paths first crossed.

You came to know me as The Jayda Jacobs, from platforms like OnlyFans and even IMDb, where I built a recognizable brand and connected with people from all walks of life. But what you didn’t know is, behind the scenes, life was still unfolding.

My dad became seriously ill, and his near-death experience sent me spiraling, unlocking years of suppressed trauma that landed me with a PTSD diagnosis. And just like that, I found myself starting over yet again, but this time, it wasn’t just my career that needed rebuilding.

It was me.

This reset wasn’t just about making money this time. It was about healing, redefining who I was, and finally choosing myself without guilt. That shift brought me here, back to my voice, back to my creativity, and back to storytelling. It was an evolution that I won’t forget.

I began sharing parts of my journey online through blogs, videos, and reflections. Not for likes or virality, but for connection and authenticity.

And something unexpected happened: you showed up too.

​

I thought my story was too different to be relatable. But what I found was a growing community of creatives, career-changers, and multi-hyphenates in midlife who were navigating their own version of starting over.

That realization was the beginning of my complete transformation and inspired The Evolution Edit™. I created this to hold all the lessons, shifts, and real moments that shaped me.

It’s a collection of raw reflections, quiet pivots, and personal lessons I’ve never shared publicly, until now.

This piece of work and this space aren’t  just more of The Jayda Jacobs. This is where you finally meet Candace.
